Update on About me

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let you know I finally wrote on my “about me” page….so you can take a look…  Not very exciting…   I’m hoping that the more I write, the better I will get at it…   I’m a pretty boring person, but I would like to become interesting!!  I want to be more than just someone who takes up space in the world…ya know?   So here’s one way I’m trying to make a change, to do something to say something..  

One thing I really enjoy is older people, and I think some way I should do more with that and to show more care to the elderly..  They have been there, done that!!  There is so much to learn from them!!    We have a few elderly ladies here in Wichita who truly feed my heart!!  I love hearing their experiences in life…and so we try to spend time with them and be an encouragement to them when we can…  I’d like to do more of this.

Another wonderful Sunday

Hmmmm…..Well. Let’s see….  We had a great Sunday morning mtg…  then ran into one of my friends at Target…..   Now, we’re just relaxing…. Thinking about what kind of exciting things I can get into..  Any suggestions from you bloggers?  Been kinda blah for the last few days..   Had things to do…but not interested in any of them……..want to do something totally different!!

In 2 more days we head for Happy TX….Yay!!!!!   Can’t wait, even tho I know it will be hotttttttttt!!!  But I need some rain from heaven..     Love you guys…..amy

Wal-Mart Pharmacy

Does anyone else have problems getting their prescriptions filled at Wal-Mart?  What a mess!!  Every time I go there, they either don’t have my medicines or they make me wait at least an hour or more!!  Then, when I get to the front of the line, they say, “Oh, it’s not ready yet”…..Aughhhhhhhhhh!!!   Well, my family has had it!!   We wasted 3 or 4 hours trying to get our medicines…   The first time we went they were closed for lunch….which is supposed to be from 1:30 to 2pm….We got there at 1:15 and they were closed early!!  Then, we went back later and had to wait in line for an hour and a half and got there and they weren’t ready!!  We just left!!  So, my husband is up at another Wal-mart trying to get them…   Needless to say, we are going to try and transfer our services to Walgreen’s or Dillon’s..     Sorry for all the griping!!

Hi Friends,

Well here I am again…  Regina helped me in knowing how to add some of your blogs to my site..  I still need lots of help…  I’m going to write some of you and give you my blog name..  Please write me and give me suggestion on how to make my blog a fun place for all to come…  Like let me know what websites are fun…  And how do I add the categories at the side?   This is all new to me!!

We are having a quiet day today..  Had a wonderful mtg this morning at Gentemann’s..   This evening Roena and Clarence Schaplowski have invited us over for pizza this evening!!   It will be nice to be with them..  They are a very dear old couple here in Wichita..

Well just wanted to say hi…  I’ll be back later..   Oh something else I’ve got to learn about is Picassa pictures.

My First Post

My Family........Rick, Ryan and Amy

Hi Everyone,

This is new for me!!  So bear with me while I learn the ropes of blogging!!  I’m hoping to make friends here and get to know old friends better here..   So come visit me and give me some pointers and be my friends here!!  Amy Wilhoite, Kimi and Regina in particular!!   I love your pages!!  Help me!!

We are having a wonderful summer here in Wichita, KS…  We’ve had a chance to visit people that we don’t have much time with when school and work are in session..   In a couple of weeks we will be going to Happy TX for convention and can’t wait!!

On a personal note…  I just got a new Toyota Camry and it’s red and I feel like a little kid with a new toy!!  Fun for me!!  Love that new car smell, don’t you?!!   

Well , this is a test here…. so want to see how it looks so I’ll stop yammering right now..
